Sneed Leads K-State in Win Over FAMU
Consistency, dependability, and efficiency – Bruce Webber, Kansas State Head Coach
The three key words for Kansas State head coach, Bruce Webber, and three words to describe Xavier Sneed’s performance against Florida A&M.
Sneed scored a team high, 18 points, and recorded the best plus/minus of the game. He was incredibly efficient, shooting 70% from the field goal, while only turning the ball over once throughout the game. Sneed is slowly becoming the go-to offensive option that the Wildcats have been looking for since the departure of Dean Wade.
For the team as a whole, this game was a step in the right direction. They scored a season-high 76 points, while shooting nearly 54% from the field. Coming off of their first two losses of the season, this was a much needed bounce back game before going up against one of the most prolific scorers in the country, Marquette’s Jordan Howard.
