Jayden Hastings, an Orlando native, is one of the top big men in the class of 2023. Hastings has won three state championships with Orlando Christian Prep.

“Transferring from OCP to IMG was one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make. The time I’ve spent at OCP and the relationships I have built there , along with winning 3 state championships means everything to me.  

I have the utmost  respect  for the coaches and the program. 

However,  I could not pass up the opportunity to transfer to IMG. This is an opportunity for me to achieve my long-term goals as a basketball player.   I  will get to play against high level competition everyday to push me and make me a better player. 

This is a chance for me to grow not only as basketball player but as a person.”

Over the summer, he finished his AAU career with a bang on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, playing for Southeast Elite. Hastings also performed well at the recent Pangos All-American Camp.

Hastings currently holds offers from Clemson, Dayton, Florida, Georgia Tech, Penn State, SMU, St. John’s, USC, USF, Virginia Tech, Kennesaw State, Boston College, Miami, and UCF.
