Liberty Bowl Brings Arkansas Razorbacks To Face The Kansas Jayhawks
Following their 6-6 season, Arkansas is set to take on Kansas in the Autozone Liberty Bowl on January 28th. The game will be hosted at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee.
Arkansas enters the game coming off somewhat of a disappointing season, which included losses to Texas A&M and Missouri. With that said, the Razorbacks picked up multiple high quality wins throughout the season, beating Cincinnati, South Carolina, and Ole Miss. Obviously moral victory won’t get you very far in college football, but the Razorbacks also put up a fight against other high quality opponents, losing 19-21 to Liberty and 10-13 to LSU.
Kansas is also coming off a 6-6 season, in which they came out of the gates hot, starting the season with a five game win streak. As the season progressed, the Jayhawks had a tough time winning games against Big 12 opponents, losing six out of their final seven games.
The Autozone Liberty Bowl kicks off at 5:30 p.m. EST and will be televised live on ESPN.
