The #15/13 ranked Miami Hurricanes travelled to Cassell Arena in Blacksburg, VA to face Virgina Tech tonight in their final road game of the regular season.  The “Canes came in with a 22-5 overall record 13-4 ACC and on a 6 game win streak.  Virginia Tech entered 16-11 overall record 6-10 ACC and working to find a rhythm.

Miami extended their win streak to 7 thru solid defense, control of the boards, and a balanced offensive approach.  The ‘Canes featured 5 different players in double digit scoring led by Norchad Omier with 17 points & 14 rebounds.  The Miami backcourt duo of Nigel pack and Isaiah Wong continued their case for being the best in the ACC combining for 29 points.

Miami improves to 23-5 overall 14-4 ACC and will host the remaining 2 games of their regular season at the Wetsco Center in Coral Gables, FL. Versus Florida State on Saturday, February 25 at 4 p.m. and Pittsburgh on Satruday, March 4 at 6 p.m.  Virgina Tech falls to 16-12 overall 6-11 ACC and will look to regroup on the road next to face Duke on Saturday, February 25  at 8:00 p.m.
