Colorado And Duke Enter Top 25 After Upset Wins
Week 1 of the college football season has come to an end, and it did not disappoint. There were plenty of great games, surprising outcomes, huge performanECces throughout the weekend.
The Colorado Buffaloes shocked the world with a 45-42 win over the previously 17th ranked TCU. Sheuder Sanders put on a show, throwing for 510 yards and 4 touchdowns. Travis Hunter Jr. made an impact on both sides of the ball, tallying 11 receptions for 119 yards, and grabbing an interception. Shilo Sanders led the Buffaloes’ defensive with 10 total tackles.
Duke made a statement with their 28-7 win over previously 9th ranked Clemson at home on Monday night. Riley Leonard threw for 175 yards, while also leading the team in rushing with 98 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The Blue Devils finished the game strong, shutting out the Tigers 22-0 in the 2nd half on their way to a big ACC win.
