Williams had a big impact in Alabama’s final scoring drive of the game, which put the game out of reach for USF. Williams broke off a 48 yard run to get the Crimson Tide into USF territory, then pounded the line of scrimmage on multiple carries to put Alabama in scoring position. Ty Simpson capped off the possession with a 1-yard touchdown, giving them a 17-3 lead with just 0:33 remaining in the game.
