On Saturday afternoon, No. 15 Florida hosted No. 12 Georgia at Katie Seashole Presley Stadium for the game two of the series. The Gators claimed a series victory with a 8-7 win over the Bulldogs. 

Florida junior, Avery Goelz, came up clutch late in their victory. Goelz hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 5th inning to give the Gators a 8-7 lead. Goelz’s two-run shot was her first home run of the season and third of her career.

Rylee Trlicek (10-2) entered the game in the top of the 5th inning, closing the game out on the mound for the Gators. Trlicek had another great performance, allowing only one hit, as she shutout the Bulldogs for the remainder of the game.

Skylar Wallace extended her hitting streak to six games, going 1-2 with a solo home run in the bottom of the 2nd inning. During the series against Georgia, Wallace is 5-6 with four home runs and eight RBI.
